Multi-instrumentalist & singer Rebecca Kay is joined by singer & guitarist Bill Taylor.

​

Performing folk songs and ballads, rich vocals, warm harmonies, with accompaniment on guitars, mandolin & concertina. 

Rooted in the English tradition, also singing contemporary songs, and expect the occasional acoustic style rock classic. 

Rebecca was brought up in a folk family while Bill discovered folk music as a teenager.

 

"We met in a Folk Club and started to accompany one another. After a few years we decided we should find something to sing together.

​Having picked one song we went to Cheltenham Folk Club.

 We didn't sing together, just accompanied one another. An off the cuff comment about being a new duo, and the Folk Club management liking the sound we made, led to a booking as a duo.

We picked a set of songs, discarded some, and rehearsed like mad. We promoted the night amongst the local folk community and friends and family turned out in force to support us.

 It went well, so on the drive home, we decided we would continue...".
